    We're offering a paid internship for a kick-ass student of the arts. The Product Design Intern will partner with the Creative and Lifecycle Management at WEBTOON to tackle project-based work that uses data-driven design solutions to engage users through WEBTOON’s cutting-edge storytelling platform. The role requires out-of-the-box thinking, some rule-bending, a bit of ingenuity and the creative chops to back it up.

     

    The length of the program will be determined prior to start by the department lead and the successful candidate.

    Essential Duties

    • Work on all aspects of the design process, including but not limited to mockups, typography, color final product, etc.
    • Design across multiple channels as needed—including event design, social media assets and in-app components
    • Design with our users in mind and create visually balanced and intuitive interfaces that show a strong grasp of readability, hierarchy, platform and player behavior patterns
    • Assist with user research and usability testing to understand user experience and recognize design solutions
    • Understand concepts and process behind the WEBTOON style guides, but also know when to break the rules

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite
    • Authorized to work in the U.S.
    • Some combination of skills within the following: User interface design, typography, iconography, UI illustrations, mobile design, layout, visual hierarchy, branding, and/or marketing campaigns.
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills and team player
    • Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple projects and prioritize work without missing deadlines
    • MUST be passionate about pop culture (comics, films, TV, games)
