Responsibilities: • Conduct intake of new Personal Injury and Workers' Compensation cases • File documents with the Maryland Workers' Compensation Commission • Complete research to obtain documentation regarding prior work, medical records, and outside injuries • Manage and maintain case files, including organizing and indexing documents, monitoring treatment, gathering prior work, medical, and injury history • Tracking deadlines, and updating case information as necessary • Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including preparing exhibits, coordinating witness interviews, and scheduling expert witnesses Qualifications: • Highly professional with a strong customer service orientation, commitment to meeting deadlines, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced and dynamic environment • Must possess excellent communication skills and be able to communicate effectively at all levels of the firm’s structure • Ability and willingness to learn new technology and adapt to firm protocols • Must have a strong ability to problem-solve independently • Applicant must have at least 1 year of experience in handling workers' compensation and auto accident cases • Must be able to work in person at our Baltimore office • A high school diploma is required Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 yearly
