Associate Professional: Compliance Specialist
Established local CPA firm located on the Westside of Jacksonville is seeking an entry level compliance associate to become part of our sales tax compliance team. Job Responsibilities · Learn sales tax theory and associated compliance process · Assist in the completion of monthly filing deadlines · Filing and other clerical responsibilities · Contact taxing jurisdictions to resolve notices and inquiries · Prepare registration applications · Participate in and contribute to achieving team goals Competencies · Microsoft Excel proficiency · Excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills · Ability to multi-task and complete assignments in a timely manner · Attention to detail · Ability to self-motivate and work independently · Microsoft Access knowledge is a BIG PLUS!
