Job Description

WIRED Technology Partners, an established IT managed service provider, is seeking a talented and dedicated Summer Intern to provide support to customers in Arkansas and other central US states. Help is needed as early as May and as late as August. RESPONSIBILITIES The IT Intern may be assigned the following tasks: * Enrolling Chromebooks into Google Workspace * Loading student devices and power adapters into charging carts * Inventory of devices * Deployment of new Windows & Mac devices * Redeployment of Windows & Mac devices * Deployment of tablets * Basic troubleshooting * Provide support for end users and mission-critical systems * Communicate with customers as required * Properly address and prioritize tasks and manage appropriate/realistic expectations to ensure overall client satisfaction * Document all work performed QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS * Technical * Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively * Experience or training in the IT field * Demonstrate basic knowledge of LAN/WAN topologies, cabling standards and components * Ability to work after hours as needed * Ability to travel as needed * Must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record with reliable transportation * Credible references * Drug screening and background check will be conducted * Personal * Operates as a team player * Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) * Very good analytical skills and issue prioritization * Good time management with an ability to work on a number of projects and tasks concurrently, setting own agendas and effectively prioritizing work * Strong enthusiasm for technology * Demonstrates thoroughness and attention to detail * Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment * Ability to work under pressure A position at WIRED! offers: * Travel Required (all travel expenses paid) * Average 30-40 hour week * $13/hr - $16/hr based on prior experience (if any) WIRED! is an equal employment opportunity employer.
