ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Research and learn BI related technology, tool, stack to build up BI team within organization
- Development and implementation of tactical and strategic business intelligence solutions for our clients
- Translation of project requirements into functional and non-functional specifications for data models, BI reports, and applications.
- Design and implementation of relational and dimensional data models while adhering to development methodologies.
- Design and implementation of data loading (ETL) and publishing processes within the BI environment.
- Support the design and implementation of analytical applications including BI dashboards, data science applications, and static reports.
- Analysis of existing data structures and ETL processes to identify areas for efficiency improvements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain test strategies and plans.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in Business Intelligence
- Knowledge in the design, construction and management of Data Business Intelligence solutions.
- Knowledge of problem analysis, structured analysis, and design and programming techniques.
- Understanding of development best practices including requirements definition, analysis, design, testing, implementation, documentation, and support.
- Must have strong skills in Power BI, Microsoft SQL Server 2016 +, SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), DAX, Transact-SQL, and SQL Server Integrated Services (SSIS).
- Experience developing solutions with multidimensional BI tools (Power BI preferred) is desirable.
- Skill in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) is desirable.
- Experience in Powershell, C#, Python (Plus)
- Experience in Microsoft Azure is preferred
- Experience/knowledge in Elastic Search stack is plus
- Experience/knowledge in AI/ML is plus
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a closely related field from an accredited institution is preferred.
