Your Mission: The core mission of the Video Editor is to manage all aspects of the raw footage to deliver high quality and impactful video content for ads, websites, landing pages, etc. that will help our clients achieve their goals. You will collaborate with producers, videographers, and other creatives to produce creative content that sells.

WKND Digital, the fastest growing Direct-To-Consumer Digital Marketing Agency in the USA, is looking for a Video Editor. We are a team of nearly 100 people around the world, with 5 offices worldwide, and plan for further expansion in 2022!

KPIs you will be accountable for:

• Edit 100% of weekly assigned videos with WKND Excellence
• Less than 5% of Client Re-works

Initiatives You Will Tackle in your first 90 days: 

• Collaborating with the Creative Team to improve current Video Editor workflow.

Key Responsibilities you will be accountable for:

• Adhering to clients' brand standards, stylescapes, and themescapes

• Assembling raw footage and transferring or uploading it to a computer

• Following a script, screenplay, or outline

• Inputting sound and graphics to enhance footage, which may include selecting music and writing voice-overs

• Digitally splicing film and video and synchronizing them into one rough cut file

• Improving and correcting lighting, coloring, and faulty footage

• Working closely with directors to present a final product that matches their vision

Technical Competencies:

• You have 2+ years of experience editing short-form ads for social media platforms

• You have experience color-grading Blackmagic RAW and Sony SLOG footage preferred

• You have experience editing using DaVinci Resolve (we are transitioning away from Adobe suite)

• You have an ear for chopping up and rearranging song clips for ads

• You have intermediate knowledge of audio editing for interviews and talking heads

• You have experience in After Effects is a plus

• You are great at creative typesetting within videos

• You are comfortable performing basic animations (i.e. lower thirds, logo reveals, moving text, captions, etc.)

Compensation:

• $42k - $47k
