WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED EDITOR TO JOIN OUR TEAM HERE AT WKND DIGITAL IN THE NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE AREA! YOU WILL BE COLLABORATING WITH PRODUCERS, DESIGNERS AND OTHER CREATIVES TO MAKE SURE THE DESIRED END-RESULT IS ACCOMPLISHED.

TASKS INCLUDE:

• Assembling raw footage and transferring or uploading to a computer

• Following a script, screenplay or outline

• Inputting sound to enhance footage, which may include selecting music and writing voice-overs

• Inputting graphics to enhance footage

• Digitally splicing film and video and synchronizing them into one rough cut file

• Improving and correcting lighting, coloring and faulty footage

• Working closely with directors to present a final product that matches his or her vision

Requirements

• 1-2 years experience editing short-form ads for social media platforms

• Experience color-grading Blackmagic RAW and Sony SLOG footage preferred

• Preferable experience editing using DaVinci Resolve (we are transitioning away from Adobe suite)

• Has an ear for chopping up and rearranging song clips for ads

• Has intermediate knowledge of audio editing for interviews and talking heads

• Experience in After Effects is a plus

• Great at creative typesetting within videos

• Comfortable performing basic animations (i.e. lower thirds, logo reveals, moving text, captions, etc.)

• Proficient at Lightroom and editing photos

• Retouching ability within Photoshop is a plus

• Must be comfortable in a very fast-paced environment
