A Development Company is seeking a Construction Project Manager that is experienced in Multi-Family and single family home new construction. The ideal candidate will oversee, manage, and direct all aspects of construction activities from beginning to end. The successful candidate will harbor a passion for design and construction, and devote his or her creativity to our project. The Project Manager’s job is to oversee the project from conception to the finished structure, interfacing with both construction professionals and the client. The job includes both hands-on and administrative duties. The Project Manager shall control the time, cost, quality of the project, coordinate all aspects of the construction process, including hiring contractors and working with engineers, architects, and vendors. His or her leadership qualities will allow him or her to take control of the project and produce results.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS & TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Solid experience working with company estimator to plan, execute labor, supplies, materials, and other ancillary costs for new construction
Drive cost-effective project management techniques and strategies in the field
Hire and assign construction work to each project
Schedule and make changes as necessary to ensure deadlines are met
Ability to perform in a high-pressure, quick and dynamic environment
Work with city inspectors to ensure a timely flow of the project
3-5 years of Project Management experience
Familiarity with construction/project management software
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
A team player with leadership abilities
BSc/BA in engineering, building science or relevant field
PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage
