    Construction Project Manager; Southern California

The Construction Project Manager will oversee, manage and direct all aspects of construction activities from breaking ground to certificate of occupancy.     Position Details:

    Full-time Position, Hourly Rate – Highly competitive -DOE, Typical Schedule – Depending on business needs at time of hire, Ability to work weekends and overtime as needed. Must Haves: Manage all construction services and activities, solid experience working with company estimator to plan, execute labor, supplies, materials, and other ancillary costs for new construction/build-outs, plan, develop, coordinate and assist in managing onsite construction activities, drive cost-effective project management techniques and strategies in the field, educate aesthetic and practical choices for build-outs, provide take offs and scopes of work for all trades from construction plans, research and prepare project past performance information for close-out; follows through with project evaluation, hire and assign construction work to each project, maintain a daily job site log, maintain strict build-out construction schedule and make changes as necessary to ensure deadlines are achieved, work with City Inspectors to ensure a timely flow of the project, work with construction Management to ensure quality and timely turnovers

    Experience, Education, Knowledge:

    High school diploma or GED, valuable superintendent experience, bachelor's Degree in building science, civil engineering, construction management or construction science – a plus but not required, 3 plus years experience as a Construction project manager or Assistant Project Manager, or 5 years’ experience as a Project Superintendent in the construction industry, 3 or more years experience with subcontracts and scopes, supervising sub-contractors and employees, experience in podium deck parking structures, experience in reading and understanding civil, structural and architectural plans and MEP's and details sheets, experience in using a GNAT Chart with Microsoft Project, experience in build-out construction preferred, able to attend, plan and conduct construction meetings, organize and follow through on work, excellent customer service skills with desire to exceed customer expectations, able to lift up to 50 pounds, observe all company procedures and safety rules, self starter, friendly, personable, and professional demeanor at all times, valid driver's license, work as part of our team to ensure customer satisfaction.
