    The Resident Retention Specialist is responsible for working closely with the Marketing and Sales Manager to evaluate goals, priorities, expectations, and execution of resident retention action plan. This position will forecast, analyze, and evaluate notifications to vacate. The RRS will respond to notices to vacate by conducting phone calls, emails, or in-person consultations. The successful incumbent will significantly reduce turnover rates by presenting viable lease renewing opportunities equitable for both resident and landlord.

    Experience, Education, Knowledge:

    Preferably at least 2 years’ experience in property management or hospitality; Must have knowledge and experience in sales, closing, client relations and Fair Housing. Able to work under regular deadlines; Highly motivated self-starter with good organizational skills; Excellent written and oral communication skills; Excellent computer skills; OneSite property management software and Excel experience a plus; GED or equivalent required; degree preferable.

    Above average phone skills and elite sales prowess a MUST! We need a top notch closer with superlative customer service skills. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports. Associates will be required to climb stair wells, frequently continuously walk or sit for up to 8 hours on any given day.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
