Job Description

As an editor, you will support our production department in executing high-quality video content for internal and external deliverables. The right candidate will be creatively driven, have meticulous attention to detail and be highly proficient in Adobe systems, while bringing positivity and enthusiasm to a wide range of projects. We are looking for detail-oriented individuals with curious streaks, great judgement and a sense of humor!

• Being a creative maker in the WONGDOODY LA team, focused on editorial of internal, as well as client work
• Concepting with creative teams for long form content and commercials for online or broadcast use, case studies, user interface walk-throughs, social posts.
• Maintaining a style, look and feel cohesive to the agency and the work
• Maintaining an archive or library of all agency produced work
• Manage all billable items and editorial suite maintenance

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in editing advertising content, film, video, and/or commercial projects
• Proficient with Adobe Premiere, Adobe Media Encoder and After Effects
• Creative thinker who welcomes the opportunity to collaborate with creative teams early on in a project to ensure its success
• Ability to build strong relationships with varying groups of people, including agency colleagues across departments, third-party production partners, and clients alike
• Familiar and versed in high-level post-production workflow
• Ability to navigate and remain calm during stressful situations while managing urgent deadlines, organizing and multi-tasking a variety of details in ever changing situations and have a diplomatic and problem-solving attitude
• MacGyver-like ability to assess situations and make things happen with the tools at your disposal and minimal supervision from others
• Proactive with an innate predisposition to make stuff all the time
• Sense of Humor!
