As a Team Member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers have a delightful shopping experience, meet sales targets, and uphold the high standards we set for our products and services, including our new luxury spa services for pets in San Diego. Full Job Description: At Woofpak, our Team Members are instrumental in helping customers find the right pet products, making purchases, and achieving sales goals. In addition, they are responsible for maintaining the store's appearance, ensuring merchandise availability, assisting customers, conducting transactions such as sales and returns, and selling grooming and luxury spa services to our furry customers. This position reports to the Team Leader.

Key Responsibilities:

Meet daily sales targets: Become proficient in in-store promotions and Woofpak product recommendations.

Collaborate with the Team Leader: Ensure sales goals are met and the store is adequately stocked with a diverse range of products.

Prioritize tasks: Support the team and create a positive shopping experience for customers

Participate in daily and deep cleaning: Maintain a clean and welcoming environment within the store and grooming area.

Ongoing Expectations:

Routine maintenance and sanitation: Perform regular cleaning and sanitation of retail displays and grooming equipment.

Communication: Collaborate with the Team Leader regarding ongoing customer issues, low inventory, and slow-moving products.

Professional demeanor: Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with Senior Leadership, coworkers, and customers.

Timely response to corporate communications: Utilize software platforms (e.g., Slack, Basecamp) to respond promptly to corporate communications and complete assigned tasks.

Other duties: Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required: One (1) year of Retail Sales experience.

Ability to multitask and problem-solve.

Attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision.

Quick and accurate execution of assigned tasks.

Strong organizational skills.

Friendly and outgoing personality with excellent teamwork and customer communication abilities.

Physical Requirements (ADA):

Continual standing and squatting.

Interaction with canine customers.

Repetitive use of hands and arms.

Visual acuity for assessing accuracy, neatness, and safety of the workplace surroundings (Retail floor, Storage).

Frequent lifting of items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Pay:

Starting Hourly: $16.00 + tips and bonuses
