    ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

    If you have a sneaking suspicion you didn't get the right count the first time, you can't help but count it again.  You have a keen attention to detail and take great pride in your work.  If you notice a discrepancy, you are comfortable asking questions and investigating the root cause to solve problems.  

    You enjoy learning new things and ask questions as a means to develop personally and professionally.  You have an interest in cannabis, cannabis regulations and supply chains.  You are familiar with cannabis products and can identify defects and differences in quality.  

    You clean up after yourself and live by the motto “a place for everything and everything in its place”.  

    Mistakes happen.  When you make one, you take responsibility and focus on solving, moving forward and working with your team to improve process.  You are comfortable sharing honest feedback and receiving the same.

    Our QA Specialists are the gatekeeper of our distribution operations. This role inspects all products before they ship to ensure they are compliant and meet WOVN and brand standards.  They also play a vital role in our receiving and shipment preparation process and work directly with the Director of Operations and Warehouse team to ensure products are up to regulatory standards. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Inspect all outgoing shipments including pick lists and Transfer Manifests (100%) for defects or damages, confirming quantities and confirming products meet all labeling and packaging requirements.  Alert Account Support team if there is a discrepancy.
    • Assign UID's as a part of the Track & Trace system on outgoing shipments
    • Examine incoming shipment skus.  Alert Sales Support if there is a discrepancy.
    • Inspect labeling and packaging before the production line begins on scope, sign off.
    • Inspect products coming off of the production line.  Alert Production Supervisor immediately if there is a discrepancy.
    • Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations
    • Comply with all state and county cannabis regulations
    • Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • 1-year QA experience
    • Detail oriented to your core
    • High moral code with propensity for positivity and learning
    • Team player with organizational skills
    • Ability to lift or move cases of products up to 50lbs

    PREFERRED SKILLS

    • Familiarity with gSuite, Microsoft Office and Salesforce
    • Knowledge of cannabis products and compliance

    COMPENSATION - $22 / HOUR
