    ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

    As a key member of our Operations Team, your primary responsibility will be timely execution of transfers, tracking and confirmation of all inbound/outbound shipments, as well as providing on the spot problem resolution for any customer needs relating to immediate transfers.     The key responsibilities of this role are to provide clear and concise communication, troubleshoot customer concerns, and to proactively monitor the movement of day-to-day shipments to ensure customer satisfaction. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and balancing the inbound/outbound process of the warehouse operations, providing timely communications to other departments and leadership, and providing support to other teams when capacity and prioritized support is needed. This is a highly visible operations leadership role and is required to be on-site in San Francisco M-F.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Plan, and coordinate transportation of products and manage the timely flow of transfers, customer orders, RMAs, and return-to-stock
    • Prepare and stage loads for shipment and take steps to avoid quality control issues with Driver Specialists
    • Manage activities throughout the order fulfillment life cycle--manage UID tags, outbound Metrc transfers, and take established deadlines across the finish line
    • Address problems with order flow, shipping delays and quality-control issues, such as damaged or improperly packed goods
    • Handle day-to-day concerns with delivery operations and customer deadlines
    • Responsible for the tracking and tracing of all shipments in Salesforce and Metrc
    • React and collaborate with team and managers with a sense of urgency to solve problems and take note of ways to improve operational inefficiencies
    • Ensure any and all necessary paperwork is available and accurate for the day-to-day operations (e.g., Metrc manifests, invoices, picklists, shipment labels, box counts, Return to Stock) 
    • Create and maintain daily docking schedules and communicate with Driver Specialists on their inventory lanes
    • Interact with customers and brands, as needed
    • Schedule and manage fleet maintenance and repairs
    • Collect information and updates from the Driver Team and partner with Finance to execute transactional flows
    • Partner with Account Receivables and Dispatch to schedule invoice collections
    • May be required to support the client after hours, such as nights, weekends and/or holidays via cell phone rotation and remote equipment
    • Complete Driver EOD check-In process and report findings to senior leadership

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Must be at least 21-years of age
    • Good understanding of technology and learning software
    • Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
    • 3-5 years of experience in logistics operations, inventory management, warehousing
    • Strong understanding of distribution, shipping, delivery, pick/pack, raw materials, and shipment staging/slotting
    • Experience with Salesforce, Metrc, Excel
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
    • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for a full eight-hour shift
    • Close visual acuity in order to read screens and fine print for data entry

    PREFERRED SKILLS

    • Knowledge of cannabis products
    • Ability to operate hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment
    • Familiarity with Salesforce
