A growing financial technology company is building a next-generation platform to improve how large-scale institutional trades are executed. Their mission is to bring greater speed, control, and transparency to trading workflows through intuitive, real-time software solutions.
They’re seeking a WPF Desktop Developer to take ownership of the UI layer for their core product. This is a primarily remote role (must work EST hours) with occasional in-person collaboration—typically one day per month. It’s ideal for a hands-on developer who enjoys working closely with leadership and wants to contribute to both product and architectural decisions.
You’ll be part of a small, focused engineering team building new features from scratch—no legacy codebases, no red tape. Just clean development with a clear roadmap and strong technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain desktop applications using WPF, C#, and XAML
Collaborate with the CTO to implement architecture and UI/UX decisions
Work with real-time messaging, backend services, and large datasets
Contribute to new feature development across a greenfield platform
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience with WPF, XAML, and C#
Familiarity with SQL Server, data structures, OOP, and threading
Bonus: Experience with real-time systems, backend integrations, or fintech/trading data
What’s Offered:
Base salary: $115,000–$130,000 + equity
Exposure to architecture and product leadership
Primarily remote work (1 day/month hybrid; must align to EST hours)
Stability, low ego team, and greenfield development
Equity opportunity and long-term product ownership
If you’re a WPF developer who’s looking for a product you can own—and want to build something meaningful with a small, sharp team—this is a strong fit.
