We are currently recruiting for Porter II for our 40 unit apartment community in Oakland, California. 

WSH Management has managed senior and multi-family properties since we began operations almost 20 years ago and are very experienced in the management of both affordable and market rate apartment communities. The standard responsibilities include ensuring that public spaces are clean and tidy, collecting debris and equipment and placing in an appropriate location, performing light maintenance such as changing light bulbs and spot cleaning areas as needed. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:

1.   Preparation of vacant apartments for move-in by new residents and completing resident requests for service as directed by Resident Manager.

2.   Clean all common areas; rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, laundry centers, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, baseboards and other work areas.

3.   Perform basic maintenance such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC system, appliance repair, painting, drywall, plaster

EXPERIENCE:

• 2 years facilities/apartment community/janitorial or relevant experience.
• Basic computer skills; experience with navigating internet browser, email and calendar.
• Candidate will be required to pass a background and drug screening. (A conviction will not necessarily disqualify you from employment with WSH Management.)

Full Time:  40 hours per week

Salary: $19.00 per hour
