    Retail sales associates are face-to-face with customers, translating the retail brand’s marketing to a customer impression. A great sales associate makes customers feel welcome and glad they have come in to the store or called to place an order.

    Conversely, an indifferent or neglectful sales associate can result not just in one sale lost on one day, but all sales lost for a lifetime from that customer. Thus retail sales associates must provide great customer service and demonstrate your company’s workplace ethics and mission with customers.

    Purpose:

    As a WT employee you will support the achievement of Store targets by building an emotional connection with customers and living the Brand Values. The core expectations include utilizing expertise and experience to; serve and sell to customers and achieving operational excellence, flawlessly execute store operations when responsible for product flow to and from sales floor and/or cashier procedures.

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Is aware of store and individual targets and actively works to meet or exceed these by using all resources available within the store.
    • Complies with store policies and procedures to maintain a safe shopping and working environment.
    • Collaborates productively and respectfully with team members to meet or exceed store goals.
    • Communicates a desire for ongoing learning and welcomes all available opportunities to increase individual and store performance.
    • Makes themselves available to support other team members when needed

    Sales Associate´s responsability

    1. Meets and exceeds customer expectations and boosts sales and WT experience by using appropriate element the WT customer service model.
    2. Create an emotional connection with every customer by being a passionate and enthusiastic WT ambassador.
    3. Proactively seeks and incorporates basic core and seasonal product knowledge into own service approach within assigned store zones(s).
    4. Maintain an appealing, easy-to-shop environment for customer by consistently executing visual merchandising and housekeeping standards.
    5. Minimize loss by actively maintaining sales floor awareness while serving customers.
    6. Sell products and stringing services to consumers.
    7. Demonstrate products and show consumers how to maximize their features.
    8. Explain different customizable features.
    9. Discuss warranties and replacement parts.
    10. Process orders in person and over the phone.
    11. Check inventory to ensure product is in stock.
    12. Bag and package purchases.
    13. Remove security devices, fold clothes, and place neatly in bag.
    14. Represent and promote the organization with products and services at in-home product presentations, showrooms, and home shows as required.
    15. Conduct outbound lead follow-up calls to potential and existing customers via telephone and e-mail to qualify leads and to sell products and services.
    16. Present solutions to furniture buyers including price, credit terms, accurate sales, estimated time of delivery based on firm’s production and delivery schedules.
    17. Collect and research information needed to identify and resolve problematic situations.
    18. Set up display cases.
    19. Place clothes on mannequins.
    20. Determine seasonal trends and adjust displays as needed.
    21. Stock shelves.
    22. Ensure pricing is correct.
    23. Distribute coupons and verify that coupons are not expired.
    24. Restock clothes that have been tried on and fold neatly.
