Job Description
Serves as a Communications Specialist for the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources (DHHR), reporting to the Director of Communications within the Office of the Cabinet Secretary. This position assists with internal and external communications for DHHR. Develops a variety of documents including speaking points, press releases, publications, fact sheets, and website and social media content. Subjects dealt with are frequently of a sensitive nature; confidentiality must be maintained. Being a team player and independent worker are a must.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, public relations, English, or related field.
