Job Summary
We are seeking a Master's Level Behavioral Health and Substance Use Disorder Supportive Counselor to join our team! In this role, you will develop a supportive and therapeutic relationship with clients. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team led by the clinical director. If you are someone who wants to make a difference in your community and your clients' lives, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
Assist the treatment team in the development and implementation of a treatment plan specific with developmental needs and/or required interventions.
Participate in individualized treatment team meetings for clients.
Provide level of care (LOC) recommendations based on ASAM criteria.
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information
Adhere to all facility and licensing standards
Involve and advises family members when appropriate.
Refer patients to outside specialists or agencies when necessary.
Other duties as needed.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or similar field
Previous experience within the behavioral health or substance use disorder fields
Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certified
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized
Microsoft Office proficient
Certifications All certifications will be required to be completed prior to start date with revalidation per company’s policy. ● HIPAA ● Adult CPR - First Aid ● Blood Borne Pathogens
● CPI validation required within 30 days of employment with revalidation per company’s policy.
