    Job Summary

    We are seeking a Master's Level or Licensed Behavioral Health and Substance Use Disorder Clinical Assessor to join our team! In this role, you will conduct initial and ongoing co-occurring assessments of clients to determine Mental Health (MH) & substance use disorder (SUD) needs as well as establish appropriate ASAM Level of Care recommendations. The clinical assessor complies with all federal, state, and local standards in the areas of evaluation, assessments, treatment, and service delivery to client's. If you are a master's Level or licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), Licensed Social worker (LSW), National Certified Counselor (NCC), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who wants to make a difference in your community and your clients' lives, we want to hear from you!

    Qualifications and Education Requirements ● Staff must have a minimum of a master’s degree in a field of human services, licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), Licensed Social worker (LSW), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) PREFERRED. ● Knowledge of community SUD programs, referral agencies, and client resources. ● Ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds with multiple individual and systemic barriers to success PREFERRED ● Effective verbal and written communication skills ● Ability to engage professionally with clientele, staff, and external collaborators ● Ability to utilize evidence-based practices ● Work as part of a multidisciplinary team ● Must be resourceful, an independent and critical thinker, and self-sufficient ● Ability to prioritize tasks, exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality with sensitive information ● PROFICIENT understanding of basic Microsoft office applications and computer skills.

    Certifications

    **All certifications will be required to be completed prior to start date with revalidation per company’s policy ● HIPAA ● Adult CPR - First Aid ● Blood Borne Pathogens ● CPI validation required within 30 days of employment with revalidation per company’s policy.

    Role and Responsibilities ***As part of the multidisciplinary team, the assessor will: ● Conduct full comprehensive psycho-social assessment and collect demographic information ● Administer and score functional assessment instruments necessary to determine medical necessity and level of care is included in services. ● Perform evaluations to determine the needs, strengths, functioning level(s), mental status, and/or social history of clients ● Evaluate and identify situations that may be potentially harmful to the client ● Collect information for treatment and crisis plans. ● Document within the EMR in a timely manner ● Facilitate or lead training and meetings, regarding assessments, as needed ● Work as a team with other departments to ensure the quality of care ● Participate in all clinical supervision, training, and staff meetings ● Always follow organization’s policies and procedures ● Perform any other duties assigned
