    Waco Scaffolding and Equipment Company is scaling rapidly, and we need a dynamic Outside Sales Representative to continue to grow our business! If your worst fear involves fluorescent lights, a cubicle, and a stack of documents to be filled out – don’t worry. Your sales and customer relation experience will allow sales and industry champions to earn $50,000.00-$125,000.00 (base salary, plus commission), a car allowance or company car, laptop, cell phone, and more! We are looking for someone with scaffolding experience who excels at supporting our current customers as well as making cold calls.

    Responsibilities

    The prime function of the Outside Sales Representative is to generate profitable business from the range of equipment that the branch specializes in.

    • Maintain positive customer relations.
    • Develop assigned territory to maximize potential rentals, sales, and reputation.
    • Design and estimate profitable, safe, and competitive scaffold projects.
    • Maintain open communications with Branch Manager, Customer Service Representatives and Managers regarding equipment availability, pricing strategies and safety concerns.
    • Weekly and daily Sales Logs and Call Reports.
    • Required documentation and expense reports.
    • Maintain professional communication, conduct and appearance.
    • Some travel required.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 2 years of Rental Industry experience and at least 1 year of Sales experience, coupled with at least 1 year of experience in the scaffold industry.
    • Ability to recognize hazards and opportunities, problem solve, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Ability to promptly respond to common inquiries or feedback from customers, team members, or our business community.
    • Ability to use Microsoft Outlook Email and Excel.
    • Previous experience with Avontus Scaffold Designer a plus.
    • Ability to read blueprints, legal documents and analyze job costing reports.
    • The physical demands of this role require bending, sitting, standing, squatting, crouching, reaching for extended periods of time, and performing job walks. Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools and to manage other office equipment.
    • Ability to climb ladder, scaffolding; and operate vehicles.
    • Ability to lift to 45 pounds; if heavier, partner with another team member.
    • Work indoors and outdoors as required by the job as well as seasonal fluctuations in temperature and varied work environments.
