Job position description:

We are seeking a Waddlers teacher assistant who is exceptional, dedicated, fun, and ready to make a difference for our Waddler classroom. The Waddlers teacher works with children ages 6 to 12 months old, supporting their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through play-based learning and daily routines. The ideal candidate is patient, creative, and passionate about early childhood education. Provide attentive care and supervision for Waddlers throughout the day. You will plan and implement age-appropriate activities, lessons, and sensory play and support children’s developmental milestones and social skills. Assist with diapering, feeding, and nap routines. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment. and follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations. Communicate daily with parents regarding children’s progress and activities. Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members and attend various staff development trainings and above all be a team player.

What we are looking for:

Previous experience working with Waddlers (preferred)

CPR/First Aid certification from NSC (or willingness to obtain)

Job Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent

CDA, Associate’s Degree, or higher in Early Childhood Education or working toward completion. (Preferred not required)

A minimum 6 months working in a licensed child care center.

Ability to meet all licensing requirements-DSS background check, medical assessment, TB test etc.

Be able to work the hours 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday - Friday
