  • Responsibilities

    We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Consumables Manufacturing Supervisor. This position will report directly to the Senior Director, Operations. Consumables Manufacturing is located in Lexington, MA. The Consumables Manufacturing Supervisor will help implement and manage the manufacturing of our cartridge assemblies including responsibility for coordinating internal efforts to develop cartridge manufacturing processes.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Supervise and direct execution of cartridge manufacturing processes and personnel that are assigned to these activities.
    • Execute validation strategies for cartridge manufacturing processes.
    • Develop process improvements for cartridge manufacturing processes.
    • Participate in on the floor manufacturing activities and become a subject matter expert in T2’s manufacturing processes.
    • Support established manufacturing processes and troubleshoot technical issues.
    • Support implementation of new manufacturing equipment and processes.
    • Ensure manufacturing team follows industry compliance standards (cGMP, FDA, ISO) for the formulation, fill and finish of reagent trays.
    • Executing the IQ, OQ and PQ of equipment to support process development.
    • Support/manage sustaining activities and drive cost reduction.
    • Communicate product status to management.

     

    SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • 3-5 years of industry experience within IVD manufacturing/production environment, preferably in a small company/start-up setting.
    • Experience with full product life cycle, from concept to development to product release a plus.
    • Excellent organizational, recordkeeping and communication (verbal and written) skills.
    • Strong work ethic to generate high quality work under tight deadlines.
    • Collaborative and proactive approach a must.
    • Self-starter and able to work in a fast-paced environment within a matrix organization.
    • A desire to get a product to market.

    The internship is unpaid and can vary from 5 to 15 hours per week. Internship hours are flexible, but the intern must be able to work most of their hours in the coalition office in Springfield.
