    Job Description

    This role is responsible for monitoring daily cash sales as well as settlements of credit/debit card sales and Arch Card transactions using T-Recs (Total Reconciliation Systems) software. In addition to identifying late or missing deposits, identify unusual trends and exceptions related to our McOpCo depository accounts and initiate research on these items. This position provides direct customer service via telephone and e-mail, including answering calls and questions from restaurant managers, field personnel, security managers, accounting center personnel, as well as direct contact with banking and armored car partners.

     

    • Research daily exceptions for bank credits, sales deposits, credit/debit card settlements, and Arch Card settlements
    • Compare above data with Point of Sale data to identify late, missing, and unusual items within pre-determined Service Level Agreement’s
    • Research and resolve depository/cashless discrepancies by working with store accountants, field personnel, Processor Acquirers, banks and armored car companies
    • Monitor other transactions posted to our bank accounts such as processed and repaid coin orders, miscellaneous debits/credits and McDonald’s generated ACH drafts to concentrate funds from our local depository accounts
    • Assist store managers, field personnel and security with bank branch and armored car issues as related to specific transactions
    • Train field personnel on proper deposit preparation techniques, proper armored car change order reimbursement procedures and proper cashless reimbursement/chargeback procedures
    • Preparation of general ledger entries to record/accurate activity in cash and cashless accounts, for chargebacks/adjustments in credit/debit card bank account and to allocate monthly credit card service fees to restaurants
    • Initiate journal entries and correspondence vital to resolve franchisee cashless settlement issues
    • Make corrections to invalid site reports by reviewing the bank’s daily BAI file
    • Use Excel application to prepare, review and distribute bi-monthly report on deposit adjustments for Operations
    • Provide customer service with a goal of 100% customer satisfaction
    • Provide coverage for various corporate banking functions such as check runs, stop payments and voids, and positive pay
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Must be fully vaccinated (i.e., at least 2 weeks after last dose) for COVID-19 and, if hired, present proof of vaccination by start date.
    • Associate degree in Accounting preferred
    • Solid understanding of various computer programs including Microsoft Office
    • Previous customer service experience is highly preferred
    • Strong organizational, levels of accuracy, and problem-solving skills
    • Work effectively in a team based environment
