    If you have experience in real estate law, business law, estate planning, or estate administration, you may be an excellent addition to our growing law firm. We are looking for a top-notch candidate with excellent working knowledge of at least one of our practice areas, such as estate taxes, estate planning, estate administration, real estate transactions, title examinations, business transactions, business administration, or the like. Only applicants with strong knowledge and expertise will be considered. Our growing client base is in need of an experienced attorney. Our attorneys have predictable and scheduled marketing quarterly activities, and nearly all clients will be provided from the law firm. We offer a strong support system, tested software and technology tools, and developed systems that are continually being refined. This position requires a significant level of responsibility and independence. Responsibilities: • Organize and maintain client files to ensure they are kept current • Draft and file wills, trusts, and powers of attorney • Communicate with clients about plans for dispersing their assets • Advise clients regarding retirement plans, charitable giving, and insurance options • Ensure clients are effectively represented at court hearings as needed • Develop long-lasting relationships with clients • Supervise administrative staff, paralegals, and law clerks • Counsel clients by assessing options and determining the best course of action for a successful outcome • Take responsibility for administrative staff relating to client invoicing/billing records, setting up meetings with clients, and completing tasks • Significant previous experience in at least 1 of our practice areas Qualifications: • Undergraduate degree with a legal background and Juris Doctor degree required • Active membership with the ABA (American Bar Association) • Wide range of knowledge regarding real estate-related topics such as title insurance, wills and trusts, property management, and litigation • Great communication skills, particularly in stressful and emotional situations • At least 3 years of experience in a law firm working in estate planning, estate administration, real estate, or business/farm succession planning • Experience working with support staff and paralegals is necessary for this position • Ability to delegate tasks effectively • This position requires compliance with law firm systems and procedures - you will be required to follow our established process for our clients • Proven interest in focused practice • Ability to adapt to our systems and way of doing things Compensation: $105,000 - $135,000+ yearly
