    We are looking for a Sales Presentation and Proposal Coordinator who can distill concepts into clear and compelling visual narratives. Candidates should have a great visual inclination for representing data, processes, strategy and creative concepts in compelling presentations and proposals. Clarity, consistent formatting, an eye for detail and a passion for presentations, as well as stellar design, are very important.

    Reporting to Managing Partner in the Los Angeles office, the Sales Presentation and Proposal Coordinator will be responsible for the following:

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Determine and communicate proposal concepts in conjunction with the account team/representative and Sales Lead by identifying and clarifying opportunities and needs, studying RFP's, attending strategy and new business meetings as needed
    • Translate RFP framework into visual decks for sales presentations
    • Utilize graphic design tools, create infographics, maps, charts/tables, presentation slides and software to develop/create and interpret engaging custom presentations and proposals (in PowerPoint or other relevant software) with compelling visual content
    • Project manage and meet proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering; writing, reviewing and approving of information received; coordinating requirements with contributors and providing status updates in a timely fashion
    • Maintain efficiency and quality results by using established templates; manage editing process and follow proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, tone, look and feel; adhere to company style guidelines and proof content for accuracy
    • Maintain company Case Study library and Index, drafting new case study language and visuals; updating existing case studies and visuals as needed
    • Improve and manage proposal-design procedures by evaluating and re-designing processes, approach to coordination, and information/boilerplates; adapt or implement internal systems, tools and technologies to streamline overall processes; keep files and folders organized and current
    • Log leads and opportunities into company CRM system and work independently and collaboratively with the Business Development team and all departments across the company; conduct research and administration to support sales process; run weekly sales reports from CRM; lead company training sessions on best practices for updating CRM entries and train other employees and coordinators on basic design support needs
    • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; maintaining personal networks
    • Manage company asset library (client logos; magazine mastheads; employee bios and photos; case studies; sales templates; Monday company presentations; internal presentations) and maintain organized sales folders and files (Sharepoint folders; new business excel document; etc.)

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • 1-2+ years of experience designing presentation decks
    • Extensive knowledge and experience with latest versions of PowerPoint including creating slide masters, being aware of PC/MAC differences; design for various output media (projector, monitors, and printouts), object animations, embedding video, etc.)
    • Proficiency with industry-standard design software such as Adobe CS 6 applications (Photoshop in particular and occasionally Illustrator) a must
    • Strong skills in graphic design and layout; typography a plus
    • Able to visualize creative ideas (translating ideas to visual concepts)
    • Strong proficiency in multitasking and a collaborative, can-do attitude under pressure
    • Adept at managing and building relationships with all levels across all departments
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience with hospitality marketing a plus
