About the Role:

Windward is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Wait Staff member to join our team! Responsibilities:

Greet and seat guests in a friendly, professional manner

Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen staff

Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely and efficient manner

Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu, including daily specials and allergen information

Check in with guests throughout the meal to ensure satisfaction

Process payments, handle cash, and operate POS systems accurately

Keep dining areas clean, organized, and properly set between seatings

Requirements:

Prior experience in food service, waitstaff, or hospitality preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask and stay composed in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

Team player with a positive, guest-first attitude

Basic math skills and experience handling cash transactions

Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays as needed

Must meet minimum age requirements per NJ state regulations for serving alcohol (if applicable)
