    JOB SUMMARY

    We're redefining the dining experience by building a world-class mobile ordering and delivery platform. Waitr's marketplace is helping small businesses grow and acquire new customers while also bringing concierge level convenience to thousands of consumers. Waitr's growth has been off the charts and has no signs of slowing down. We are launching dozens of new markets around the US each quarter, and we are experiencing massive organic growth in our existing markets.

    We are looking for someone to join our team to support this growth by remotely hiring and training hourly delivery drivers for new market launches. This position is responsible for all aspects of hiring starting at application, screening, interviewing, verifying MVR and background qualifications, orientation scheduling, and initial scheduling of staff. The average day will consist of contacting new applicants, conducting interviews, and leading online training with new hires.

    Previous experience with operations of a large, hourly, remote workforce is a positive for this role. This person's performance will be assessed on general organization, efficient process development, clarity of communication, and the ability to meet hiring and staffing goals.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    1. Hire drivers and key operations management for launch markets
    2. Help develop and streamline new launch processes
    3. Lead virtual trainings for new hires
    4. Communicate with Field Teams to schedule in person meetings for new employees
    5. Daily and weekly reporting on market hiring needs
    6. Manage launch market driver schedules to meet company performance metrics

    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    1. Strong analytical abilities
    2. 3-5 years of work experience hiring hourly employees
    3. Proven track record of recognizing talent and training teams
    4. Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

    PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    1. Bachelor's degree
    2. Strong proficiency in G-suite and ability to quickly learn new software
    3. Experience working with delivery drivers
    4. Experience working in a team environment under tight timelines
    5. Experience creating standard operating procedures and guidelines

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    Standard office work mixed with field travel.

    POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

    This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

    TRAVEL

    This role could  require occasional air travel to field offices and/or headquarters. Expected travel up to 5% of the time.
