Daily data entry and deposit for Basic Membership sales transactions and other funds as necessary. Reconcile Basic Membership monthly deposits with Accounting. Coordinate all gift acknowledgements and fulfillment materials for Basic Members and other donors as necessary. Correspond with Basic Members via phone, e-mail, and mail. Support membership events and assist with development events as necessary. Maintain database and initiate ongoing clean-up efforts. Serve as a liaison between frontline staff and Development/Membership department. Time allocated accordingly:

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Record and track incoming unrestricted Basic Membership funds and maintain related record keeping, including creating and updating monetary giving histories and tracking all "funds pending," such as sustaining membership pledges.
- Manage all daily deposits for Basic Membership and general donations as needed. Maintain all financial records, deposits, and correspondence for gifts processed.
- Reconcile Basic Membership income with monthly accounting fund audit reports in a timely fashion.
- Prepare acknowledgement and fulfillment correspondence for all Basic members, including printing membership cards and assembling and sending benefits packets on a weekly basis.
- Respond to member inquiries via e-mail, phone, and mail.
- Track quantities and usage of all membership print materials and stock supplies.
- Update annual reciprocal benefits listing.
- Assist with coordination of Basic member events; support Contributing and Patrons’ Circle-level member events as necessary.
- Oversee daily membership processing by visitor services and other frontline staff and assist with onsite membership trainings, and sales campaigns. Keep frontline membership manual up-to-date. Maintain premium inventories and serve as a liaison between frontline staff and the membership department.
- Serve as contact for Tessitura support inquiries and information, pull reports for membership and development as needed, review online membership sales, and coordinate data clean-up efforts and system health to ensure accurate data.
- Duties as assigned by Associate Director of Membership and Director of the Annual Fund.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong detail-oriented, multi-tasking, and customer service skills, experience with numbers and data entry essential.
- Experience with Tessitura preferred.
- Experience volunteering and/or working at an arts organization preferred.
- Must be comfortable engaging members in-person at events.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, including mail merges, preferred.
- Occasional lifting and/or moving heavy loads of membership materials necessary.
- Weekend and evening event work required.
POSITION SPECIFICS:
- Full-time (35 hours), Non-exempt, some evenings and weekends required
