What You’ll Do as a Delivery Associate/Foot Courier

We are looking for reliable and energetic Walking Couriers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering packages on foot within designated areas, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being outdoors, walking, and interacting with a diverse range of people.

• Work 3-5 days per week and up to 7 hours per day with shifts available seven days a week
• Interact with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner
• Stay active delivering 200 or more packages ranging from envelopes to boxes weighing up to 50lbs
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.
• Verify delivery information and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pick-ups.
• Communicate with the dispatch team to receive and update delivery instructions.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle packages with care.
• Report any delivery issues or delays promptly.
• Adhere to all safety and traffic regulations while on duty.

Qualifications

What You’ll Need as a Delivery Associate/Foot Courier

• Must be at 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have a valid state ID within the state of employment
• Successfully pass background check and pre-employment drug test.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a courier or delivery role is a plus but not required.
• Ability to walk long distances and navigate through various neighborhoods in Manhattan.
• Must be comfortable working in varying weather conditions.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
• Comfortable using smartphones and delivery apps.
• Basic knowledge of Manhattan streets and landmarks is preferred.
• Must be able to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs.
