Our upstream oil and gas client is looking for a Data Engineer. This role support data infrastructure for successful machine learning and data analytics. The role is full time, direct hire. The work situation is hybrid (in office Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).

Responsibilities:

• Design and build data pipeline, with an eye to data quality.
• Contribute to the data science transformation.
• Participate in cross-business projects for production automation and optimization, drilling and completion.
• Build and deploy dashboards.
• Contribute to best practices for data pipelines.

Requirements:

• Master or Bachelor degree in STEM (Computer Science, Data Science)
• 5+ years in Data Engineering
• Strong experience in SQL, Python
• Big data architecture Snowflake, Azure, Spark

Advantageous skills:

• Energy industry.
• Oil operator industry.
• Additional development skills.
