    Job Summary

    We are seeking a Sales Associate who will train to become the Assistant Store Manager at one of our locations. You will start off working at both locations learning all aspects of selling paint and servicing both professional painters and retail customers which includes but is not limited to communicating with customers to help them to identify the right product for their project, tinting paint, and making sure the store is organized, clean and properly stocked. The ideal candidate is friendly, a good communicator and is able to remain calm under pressure. You will complete a step by step training program to help you attain your goals. As you advance through the program, your pay, benefits and responsibilities will increase.

    Responsibilities

    Assist customers in store with finding what they need and making recommendations for the right product for their job

    Learn how to use our Point of Sales System

    Learn how to use our Paint Tinting Machines and how to custom tint paint to what a customer wants

    Learn about the different products that we sell and how they are used

    Make sure that showroom shelves are stocked and organized

    Help maintain a clean and healthy work environment

    Break down and check in orders when they arrive from our manufacturers (may involve hand unloading from back of a truck trailer)

    Communicate when products need to be ordered.

    Learn the daily procedures and responsibilities for operating the store.

    Opening and Closing Store Procedures

    Care and Maintenance of Equipment

    Qualifications

    High school diploma/GED

    Previous Paint Store Experience is preferred (this will help you bypass the first couple of steps in the training program)

    Comfortable using computers

    Excellent communication and listening skills

    Ability to handle a physical work load (lifting up to 60 lbs)

    Ability to work well under pressure

    Outgoing personality

    Clean Driving Record
