We are actively seeking a sales representative to travel locally and to surrounding areas and speak with NC ABC stores regarding purchases of our spirits. The ideal candidate will be in or around the Wake County area and able to travel to locations for solicitation. Training will be conducted prior to solo travel. Required 3-day onsite training at Distillery in Jacksonville, NC. Expenses for travel and hotel will be provided by employer.

Salesperson Duties and Responsibilities

• Contact general managers via phone, email, and in person visit.
• Schedule sales appointments and activities.
• Promote spirits to new and existing customers in on-premise consumption locations.
• Develop strategies for more effective sales.
• Maintain positive business and customer relationships.
• Track personal appointments, status reports, and sales.
• Track and record daily activity and report to proper supervisor.
• Maintain contact and work with distillery staff for updates and information.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals.
• Continuously improve through feedback.
• Consistently maintain follow-up appointments and assistance with business locations using our products.

Salesperson Requirements and Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Highly motivated, determined, and target driven.
• Proven track record in the sales environment.
• Expert in time management and personal organization.

A company vehicle will be provided for use in travels to meet with ABC store managers, ABC stores, and surrounding bars and restaurants for product promotions. A company card will be provided for travel expenses and business related expenses. The sales representative will be responsible for creating and carrying out scheduling in a time-efficient manner. All daily activity, locations, and discussions will be recorded and turned in as a report for review on effectiveness of product promotion.

Monthly base salary will be paid with 5% commission rate for all ABC Board sales in assigned territory with no cap on commissions earned possibility, and use of the company car and budget for gas expense in the company vehicle.

Walton's Distillery is a small batch distillery producing spirits and liquor to sell through the NC ABC stores. We have one location on the outside of Jacksonville, NC. Currently we distill and produce 11 different spirits and utilize all local avenues possible in production. We pride ourselves on small operation and are very hands on in production.
