    Masters Petersens Flooring & Design is seeking an experienced Business Development Executive. This person will be driven by setting goals and developing plans for business and revenue growth. Researching, planning, and implementing new target market initiatives. Researching prospective accounts in target markets. Pursuing leads and guiding them through the sales cycle. This person reports directly to the Sales Manager and Integrator. In addition to the base salary range offered, this position is eligible to earn bonus based on sales increases.The ideal candidate must be driven by, and exemplify, these four core values above all else: Hard Work, Teamwork, Customer Service, and Doing the Right Thing

    Key Responsibilities

    Create Brand Awareness | Assist in Product Specifications | Secure Registered Jobs

    Establish and build relationships with A&D/Contractor/Builder segments including end-users

    Capture and provide accurate market data

    Be transparent, responsive, dedicated, and honest with Vendors to develop and maintain beneficial long-term partnerships

    Stay familiar with industry products/technology, logistics, and supply-chain management

    Required Skills:

    Proven Sales personality, great communication, detailed and organized, helpful, patient. Impeccable written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with project management methodologies.

    Required Experience:

    Must have a high level of flooring knowledge and general installation skills, flooring layout / estimating / measuring, construction site knowledge, sales is a must. RollMaster or other ERP software experience is desired; Microsoft Office 365 product experience is a must. Professional and effective selling and customer services skills required. Proven ability to successfully develop and execute selling strategies.

    Positive, patient, engaging, supportive, determined. Must help to perpetuate a positive client experience.

    Must be Obsessively detailed; consistent and clear communication, organization of day / tasks / trips / etc., diligence, and persistence. Follow through each sale opportunity. Independent, self-motivated, committed, multidisciplinary.

    Required Results:

    Provide accurate project details to Project Managers: Ensure profitable sales and continued growth of sales opportunities: Maintain on-going support & communication with PM's & Clients, as required, through completion of project. Following flow of the sales process and providing details and information with urgency and effectiveness. Recurring profitable sales with new business partners/clients. Meet or exceed agreed upon sales goals.
