    Job Summary

    We are seeking a dependable, motivated, and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team. This position plays a critical role in supporting daily warehouse operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, assisting our sales counter team, and ensuring excellent service for our customers.

    The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role requires physical activity, including standing for extended periods, lifting materials, and operating warehouse equipment. Candidates must also possess a valid driver's license and be capable of making deliveries to customer job sites using company vehicles when needed.

    Responsibilities

    Receive, unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments

    Accurately stock inventory in designated warehouse and bin locations

    Pull, stage, and prepare customer orders for pickup or delivery

    Assist counter sales staff with locating and fulfilling customer orders

    Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards

    Perform inventory counts and assist with inventory control procedures

    Learn and utilize the company's POS and inventory management systems

    Identify and report inventory discrepancies, damaged products, or stock shortages

    Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks

    Deliver products to customer job sites using company vehicles as needed

    Follow all company safety policies and procedures

    Provide professional and courteous service to customers, vendors, and coworkers

    Qualifications

    High school diploma/GED preferred

    Previous warehouse, distribution, construction supply, or plumbing industry experience preferred but not required

    Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

    Forklift certification or experience preferred (training available)

    Basic computer skills and ability to learn POS and inventory management software

    Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    Excellent organizational and time management skills

    Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

    Willingness to learn plumbing, HVAC, and industrial product lines

    Physical Requirements

    Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday

    Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift heavier materials with assistance or equipment

    Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and company vehicles

    Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures and conditions
