Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver
Shift: 8am to 4:30pm (Mon-Fri)
Pay Rate: $17-20/hr.
Description:
- Cannonball Recruiting is seeking multiple Warehouse Associate/Delivery Drivers to work in a temperature-controlled facility for shipping/receiving and the delivery of packages.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license appropriate for the delivery vehicle.
- Clean driving record.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry heavy items.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and organization skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Ability to drive delivery vans and trucks.
Job Duties:
- Loading and Unloading: Load products or goods onto the delivery vehicle in a safe and organized manner. Ensure that items are properly secured to prevent damage during transportation.
- Safe Driving: Operate delivery vehicles, which can include vans, trucks, or specialized delivery vehicles, in a safe and responsible manner. Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
- Route Planning: Utilize GPS systems or other navigation tools to find the best routes and avoid traffic congestion.
- Product Inspection: Inspect products or goods before delivery to ensure they are in good condition and match the delivery paperwork. Report any discrepancies or damage.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate delivery records, including proof of delivery, receipts, and other relevant documentation.
- Customer Service: Interact with customers at delivery points. Provide a high level of customer service, answer questions, and handle any delivery-related inquiries or issues.
- Warehouse Duties: Assist with warehouse tasks when not on delivery runs. This may include receiving, organizing, and preparing products for delivery, as well as inventory management.
- Safety Compliance: Comply with safety regulations and best practices to prevent accidents, injuries, and damage to products.
