OVERVIEW

Our Warehouse Operators are front-line team members who are responsible for receiving carpet and carpet pad, staging product for installations, inventory control tracking and general warehouse maintenance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The following are the responsibilities for this position:

Loading and unloading carpet and carpet pad

Following company’s policies on receiving product and inventory control

Following safety and lifting protocols during deliveries, and conducting safety reviews

Organizing warehouse and placement of product

Keeping warehouse clean and tidy at all times

Maintaining and cleaning vehicles (including Forklift)

Maintaining a professional appearance in compliance with the company’s standards

Ability to communicate and assist Delivery Drivers, Installers and other PSG team members

Transferring carpet or pad to another location, as needed

Delivering products to designated locations as needed

Perform other duties as assigned that support the overall objective of the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be 18 years of age or older

Pass a criminal background check

Have a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record

Ability to regularly lift or move 80lbs

Ability to operate and maintain Forklift & company vehicle

Experience with computers and Google

Ability to learn company installation software

Provide excellent customer service

Working Conditions:

Must be physically and mentally able to successfully perform essential duties of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly and 100 pounds occasionally. Is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, climb, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, reach or balance. Must be able to talk, hear and use hands to type while performing the duties of the job. Be able to work in all types of weather conditions.
