The warehouse associate is based out of our St. Rose, Louisiana office and reports to the Strategic Accounts Sales Manager. This team member interacts directly with members of the sales teams in both our Houston and New Orleans offices to ensure accurate, timely shipments to our Federal Government and local customers.

Physical requirements for this position demand stamina for long periods of standing/walking, strength to lift 50+ lbs. frequently, and agility to bend, stoop, reach, climb, and move repetitively, and working in various conditions (temperature, heights) while focusing on safety.

Background check and driving record check will be required.

Forklift Skills

Unload full semi-truck of pallets of boxes weekly

Move pallets around warehouse

Load orders onto LTL truck for shipment – Daily

UPS and FedEx Shipping

Packaging of orders

Use UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager to create labels for shipping (WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager Expreience a Plus!)

Receive, count, and repack UPS orders from vendors to ship back out

Receive shipments from Amazon, UPS and FedEx daily

Interact with freight truck drivers and other delivery drivers

Handle paperwork with drivers

Other Warehouse Tasks

Break down pallets and repacking outbound orders

Use banding materials and plastic wrap

Attach LTL freight and Military specific shipping labels to pallets

Basic Computer Skills

Use email with Outlook

Basic Windows PC skills

We will train on how to use our company ERP system

Print labels using UPS WorldShip software or Estes or other LTL freight website

Local Deliveries

Must have clean driving record and REAL-ID license

Semi-weekly deliveries in company van to customer facilities

Pick-ups at local Home Depot and Lowes

Warehouse/Office duties

Must keep clean and organized

Organize outbound customer shipments

Engage with inside sales staff over order shipping

Handle dumpster and trash cans for pick-up
