The principal responsibility of the Warehouse Associate is to support all shipping/receiving and logistics activities within the warehouse environment.

Essential Duties:

• All aspects of shipping, receiving, inventory control and house-keeping functions.
• Any other duties and tasks, consistent with your abilities.

Minimum Experience Requirements:

• Detail oriented individual, conscientious, accurate, capable of multi-tasking and working with other employees in a team environment.

• Must be well organized with good verbal and written communication skills.

• At least five (5) years of warehousing experience.

• Minimum of 5 years of certified experience with the safe operation of sit-down propane forklifts.

• Experience and proficiency with use of WMS software (Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar) including mobile handheld devices.

• Experience and proficiency with use of manifest system shipment processing (UPS and FedEx).

• Experience and proficiency with on-line bookings for customer routed shipments.

• Experience and proficiency of Microsoft Office Applications, (Word, Excel, Email) and Microsoft Teams.

• Ability to lift and handle up to 70 lbs.

Preferred Requirements:

• Familiarity and experience with power tools (saws, drills & drivers) used for shipment packaging and crating.
• Previous experience with inventory cycle counting and restocking.

Working Conditions:

• General warehouse environment (no air conditioning) with powered industrial vehicles.
