Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to support daily operations within a Regional Distribution Center. This position is responsible for receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping inventory while maintaining high standards for safety, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Receive inbound shipments and stock materials in designated warehouse locations
- Inspect inbound inventory for quantity discrepancies or damage
- Process inbound and outbound orders using RF scanning technology
- Verify inventory accuracy to ensure correct part numbers and quantities
- Load and unload trailers and verify shipping documents such as bills of lading
- Maintain necessary warehouse supplies in assigned work areas
- Monitor and report equipment issues or operational concerns to supervisors
- Perform inventory cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records
- Assist with re-warehousing and inventory movement when required
- Work overtime or weekends when operational needs require
Additional Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
- Participate in training and assist with onboarding new team members when needed
- Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Use RF equipment to verify order information and complete tasks accurately
- Develop knowledge of warehouse processes including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping
- Handle regulated materials while following safety and compliance requirements
- Complete work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Operate powered material handling equipment after successful completion of training
- Perform physically demanding work including walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs
Required Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2–4 years of warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic math and problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate RF scanners and warehouse equipment
- Willingness to work in various warehouse functions as needed
