Position Summary:

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations including receiving, organizing, and shipping merchandise for a growing family run freight business. This role involves physical work, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of safety and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments

• Pick, pack, and label orders accurately and efficiently

• Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas

• Perform regular stock counts and report discrepancies

• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment (if certified)

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse

• Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times

• Assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Prior warehouse or logistics experience is a plus

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Basic math and reading comprehension

• Forklift certification (preferred, not required)

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Reliable attendance and punctuality

• Requires wearing appropriate safety gear (PPE)
