We are currently looking for an experienced warehouse associate/local driver to help facilitate the day-to-day warehouse operations at our Woodridge, IL. location. A qualified candidate will thrive in a fast-paced team environment, possess a can-do attitude, and have the ability to motivate a team. This is a full time (M-F), in person position.

The warehouse associate/local driver is responsible for facilitating the delivery of goods from one location to another. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service. We are looking for an experienced warehouse pro that can deliver in a 50-mile radius as well as pick, pack, and other warehouse duties as assigned. Impeccable driving record is a must!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Driver a 24-foot and/or 16-foot box truck from site to site and operate liftgate.

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently.

Plan routes effectively to ensure timely delivery of goods.

Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving on designated routes.

Demonstrate proficiency in truck driving skills.

Assistance of warehouse operations which include, but not limited to, loading/unloading, receiving, sorting, put away, picking, and inventory control.

Leading by example to ensure that all procedures and best practices are consistently followed.

Qualifications & Skills:

You have the ability to sit for extended periods of time, up to eight hours daily.

You are willing and able to work in an environment that has extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous/loud equipment, and slippery surfaces

Must possess a valid CDL-C License

Strong communication, interpersonal skill, leadership, and conflict resolution

Strong knowledge of modern warehousing practices and methods

Critical thinking ability and a proactive approach to problem solving

Able to operate forklift, pallet jacks and pallet wrap equipment

Ability to stand, swoop, bend, and lift 75 lbs.

Bilingual Spanish/English a plus

Education and/or Experience:

3+ years of combined experience in Warehousing or Third-Party Logistics

Clean MVR required

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Experience with inventory control, inventory reconciliation, and cycle counting

Knowledge of bin location warehousing

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
