Key Technician

Location: Charlotte/ 28273
Schedule: M-F 8:30a-5p or until finished
Pay: $18/hr

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Key Technician to support daily key cutting and duplication operations. This role requires precision, consistency, and a strong ability to follow exact specifications. Accuracy is critical — keys must be made correctly the first time.

This position is ideal for individuals with hands-on experience in production, warehouse, automotive, or technical environments who take pride in quality work and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Cut, duplicate, and process keys according to exact specifications

• Accurately follow work orders and customer instructions

• Inspect finished keys to ensure proper function and quality

• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe workstation

• Handle repetitive tasks while maintaining focus and consistency

• Use key cutting machines, tools, and equipment safely

• Provide professional customer service when needed

• Follow company procedures and quality standards at all times

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to perform repetitive, precision-based work

• Mechanical aptitude or hands-on technical experience preferred

• Experience in warehouse, production, automotive, or manufacturing environments is a plus

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions closely

• Reliable, punctual, and dependable

• Basic computer or data entry skills preferred
