  • Responsibilities

    SUMMARY

    To fulfill the requirements of the company's shipping department, maintain a clean, safe and organized working environment, and follow company's policies, regulations and operating procedures

    **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES **

    include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Pick, check, pack and ship orders per procedure

    • Shipping (USPS, FedEx, and UPS)

    • Daily printing and sorting of orders

    • Assisting/printing FBA and WFS labels and workorders

    • Organize and instruct Pack Out Team to complete their daily pack outs provided by Warehouse Supervisor

    • Check for errors and maintain efficiency of pack outs

    • Build and assemble pallets

    • Maintain proper egress to keep a clean and safe work environment

    • Down stocking aisles

    • Break down all cardboard and place in the proper bins

    • Receive delivered products

    • Keep products organized and stocked

    • Monitor stock and notify the warehouse manager of low quantities

    • Regular inventory counts as assigned

    • Return to stock all unused products

    • Sweep and mop warehouse as needed

    • Loading and unloading trucks

    • Other duties as assigned

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS

    Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

    REASONING ABILITY

    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

    Fork lift safety training certificate to operate forklift.
