    Principle Express, a transportation company, serving the automotive parts industry is looking for a Warehouse Assistant Manager. We are a fast-growing, stable company with the immediate need to fill a full-time, permanent Warehouse Assistant Manager at our new warehouse located in Grand Prairie, TX.

    The ideal applicant has either supervising or management experience in a warehouse environment. Must be career minded – this is a ground floor opportunity.

    Primary attributes we are looking for include but not limited to: strong personality but personable, strong focus on details, highly organized, effective communicator to interface with Clients and delivery drivers, ultimately treat the business as your own. Must possess a people first mentality and a desire to win.

    Compensation: $25/hr

    Schedule: Mon to Fri, 5am-2pm

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities

    • Manages shipping/receiving process – assists with sorting freight, tracks additional freight charges, freight pick-ups, updates orders as needed
    • Interfaces with Client(s) (Auto Dealerships) & delivery drivers to answer shipping questions: ETA’s, COD’s, finding signatures, etc.
    • Utilizes e-Courier software, word and excel to enter and or track data input, dispatching routes/drivers
    • Be on call to assist with truck break downs, accidents, warehouse issues, etc (will not have many late calls but can happen)
    • Train delivery drivers on how to use delivery app, be a go-to to assist drivers with situational awareness, pay, scheduling, etc
    • Responds to all customer inquiries
    • Maintain customer contact lists
    • Maintain filing system

    Knowledge, skills and abilities

    • PC Skills: Word, Excel, SAAS eCourier
    • Management experience
    • Multi-tasking ability
    • Must have strong attention to detail
    • Strong organizational and computer skills
    • Must have strong communication and customer service skills
    • Strong work ethic and trustworthy
    • Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the job
    • Ability to learn geographical delivery points in OK & TX
    • Prefer knowledge or background with auto parts at the dealership level

    Working Conditions

    • Working at a desk with a computer, standing, sitting for extended periods, physically able to lift up to 60 pounds with reasonable accommodation
    • Interacting with customers and drivers on a daily basis
