About Mattress Home

Mattress Home is a fast-growing, family-owned mattress retailer serving the Suncoast of Florida. We take pride in running clean, organized operations and delivering exceptional customer experiences from the warehouse to the customer’s bedroom.

We are hiring a Warehouse & Delivery Operations Manager to take full ownership of our warehouse and delivery execution.

This is a leadership role for someone who brings energy, structure, and high standards every single day.

The Role

This is a 50-hour per week leadership position, paid hourly.

You will be responsible for: • Managing the warehouse 5½ days per week • Leading the warehouse assistant, delivery driver, and driver’s assistant • Ensuring organization, cleanliness, and operational excellence • Maintaining accurate inventory and overseeing all receiving • Coordinating daily communication between warehouse, sales team, and operations

This role requires someone who moves fast, communicates clearly, and sets the tone for the entire operations team.

You are not just managing inventory — you are managing execution.

Compensation

• Standard schedule: 50 hours per week • Expected annual earnings: $55,000–$65,000

This is a performance-based environment. You are paid for the hours you work and the leadership you bring.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations (receiving, organizing, staging) • Maintain clean, safe, professional warehouse standards • Ensure inventory accuracy and transfer efficiency between stores • Lead and hold accountable the delivery team • Coordinate delivery schedules and support customer service standards • Step in to operate delivery truck or forklift when needed • Communicate with Sales Team across all locations • Communicate regularly with Operations Manager • Monitor vehicle and equipment maintenance • Improve processes and eliminate inefficiencies

What We’re Looking For

• High energy, positive attitude, strong work ethic • Natural leader who sets standards and follows through • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred • Valid driver’s license with safe driving record • Comfortable operating box trucks and forklifts • Warehouse/logistics/retail operations experience preferred • Able to lift up to 150 lbs and work in a physically active role • Organized, proactive, and solution-oriented
