    Job Overview
    We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Floor Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in materials handling and logistics, with proven skills in team management and process improvement. As a Floor Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining inventory control, and fostering a safe working environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational standards.
    • Manage and lead a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance and support to enhance productivity.
    • Oversee materials handling processes, including heavy lifting and transportation of goods within the facility.
    • Implement process improvement initiatives to optimize workflow and increase efficiency.
    • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS preferably with Plex experience) for tracking inventory levels and managing stock movements.
    • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
    • Coordinate logistics for incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely delivery of products.
    • Train new employees on operational procedures, safety practices, and equipment usage, including forklift operation.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is essential.
    • Strong skills in materials handling, including the ability to perform heavy lifting as required.
    • Familiarity with inventory control processes and warehouse management systems (AS400 or similar).
    • Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively while promoting a positive work culture.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement initiatives.
    • Forklift certification is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
    • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and management.

    Shift is 6:30-5:15 M-Th or a flexible 8 hour shift M-F

    Must have no violent felonies, drivers license, reliable transportation, and able to pass a drug screen.
