Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated, proactive and professional Warehouse General Manager to join our team. The Warehouse Manager oversees all operations within the warehouse, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in inventory management, packing, shipping, and receiving processes. This role involves leading a team of warehouse staff, implementing best practices for safety and productivity, and maintaining a well-organized facility. The Warehouse General Manager will develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and collaborate with other departments to optimize supply chain processes. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential to enhance operational effectiveness and meet organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
· Supervise, mentor and train warehouse staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
· Motivate teams, resolve conflicts, and create a positive working environment.
· Oversees the daily workflow of the warehouse; schedules, breaks and time off requests.
· Interviews, selects, and trains warehouse personnel.
· Supervises the following staff: Inventory manager, Packing Operations Supervisor, Packers, Warehouse, Freezer
· Oversee inventory control, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely replenishment.
· Works with Inventory Manager to review invoices, work orders, consumption reports, or demand forecasts to estimate peak delivery periods and to issue work assignments.
· Enforce safety protocols and maintain compliance with regulations.
· Responsible for staff scheduling and compliance with attendance policies and procedures.
· Analyze operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
· Manage and maintain service quality from start to finish.
· Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
· 3-5 years of warehouse or logistics leadership experience.
· Must be able to stand log periods of times
· Forklift experience required – certification preferred.
· Experience with barcode scanners and reporting, warehouse management systems (WMS), and data reporting tools is vital.
· Clear and professional communication skills.
· Strong, quick and practical problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
· Must be able to remain calm and composed when dealing with staff and leadership.
· Ability to handle multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Bilingual, English/Russian or Spanish not required, but highly favorable.
· Experience in food packaging industry highly desired.
· Clear criminal background required
· Professional References required
