Shopify Shipper - Warehouse & Inventory Manager We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Shipping & Receiving Warehouse Manager to oversee all inbound and outbound logistics operations, including direct-to-consumer order fulfillment through Shopify. This role is responsible for managing inventory flow, supervising warehouse staff, ensuring accurate and timely shipments, and maintaining efficient warehouse operations. The ideal candidate has strong experience with warehouse systems, e-commerce fulfillment, and shipping platforms. Responsibilities: Shipping, Fulfillment & Shopify Operations • Manage all outbound shipments, including wholesale, retail, and e-commerce (Shopify) orders • Process, pick, pack, and ship Shopify orders with a high level of accuracy and efficiency • Oversee order flow within Shopify, ensuring timely fulfillment and status updates • Integrate and manage shipping platforms (ShipStation, Shopify Shipping, or similar) • Coordinate with carriers (UPS, FedEx, LTL/FTL freight) to optimize shipping cost and delivery times • Generate and verify shipping documentation (labels, BOLs, packing slips, invoices) Receiving Operations • Oversee inbound shipments and ensure accurate receiving and inspection of goods • Verify quantities and quality of incoming materials against purchase orders • Resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal purchasing teams Inventory Management • Maintain accurate inventory levels across warehouse systems and Shopify • Ensure proper syncing between physical inventory and online store availability • Conduct cycle counts and manage periodic inventory audits • Implement inventory control procedures to reduce shrinkage and discrepancies Process Improvement • Identify and implement workflow improvements in both warehouse and e-commerce fulfillment • Monitor and report on KPIs such as order accuracy, fulfillment speed, and shipping costs • Optimize warehouse layout for efficient pick/pack operations Compliance & Safety • Ensure adherence to OSHA and company safety standards • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant warehouse environment • Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce proper material handling Qualifications: • 3–7+ years of experience in warehouse management, shipping/receiving, or logistics • Hands-on experience with Shopify order fulfillment and shipping workflows • Experience with shipping software (Shopify Shipping, ShipStation, or similar platforms) • Strong understanding of inventory systems and warehouse management software (WMS) • Familiarity with freight, parcel shipping, and carrier rate structures • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications • Experience in e-commerce, manufacturing, marine, or construction industries • Experience integrating Shopify with ERP or inventory management systems • Forklift certification (or ability to obtain) • Familiarity with ERP systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, etc.) Compensation: $38,500 - $50,000 yearly DOE
