    • Shift- 8am-4:30pm Mon-Fri
    • TX Employment Type: Full-Time
    • Pay-18-20hr DOE

     

    Position Summary

    The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations related to IT asset processing, inventory management, and logistics. This role ensures safe handling of customer equipment, accurate tracking of assets, and efficient workflow from inbound receipt through final disposition. The Warehouse Lead will supervise warehouse staff, enforce operational procedures, and maintain quality and compliance standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    · Lead day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, sorting, processing, data wiping and shipping IT assets

    · Supervise and support warehouse technicians and material handlers

    · Ensure proper chain-of-custody and asset tracking for all inbound equipment

    · Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with logistics partners

    · Maintain accurate inventory in asset tracking systems

    · Oversee pallet staging, storage layout, and warehouse organization

    · Ensure data-bearing devices are routed correctly for data destruction

    · Monitor productivity and workflow efficiency

    · Train new employees on warehouse procedures and safety practices

    · Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce risk

    · Ensure safe operation of pallet jacks, forklifts, and warehouse equipment

    · Assist with customer pickups, truck loading, and unloading

    · Support periodic inventory audits and reconciliation

     

    Qualifications

    · 3+ years of warehouse experience required

    · Prior lead or supervisory experience preferred

    · Experience in ITAD, electronics recycling, or reverse logistics preferred

    · Strong organizational and multitasking skills

    · Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly

    · Experience with inventory or asset tracking systems

    ·Pallet Jack experience is required

    · Strong attention to detail and chain-of-custody awareness

    · Basic computer skills (Excel, inventory systems, shipping software)
